Let their prehistoric imagination run wild
We celebrated my son’s third birthday on the weekend and suddenly his mind is buzzing with imagination from all the toys he received as presents. Imaginative play is an important part of a child’s development as it’s their way of making sense of this world. Through play they are learning social skills, experimenting with decision making, learning to share and gaining practical life skills. Imaginative play may seem simple, however, it’s important to encourage these exciting moments by providing a safe space to play with lots of toys and props.
Wooden Toy Play Sets
While you don’t need to buy expensive toys, but a few well design and versatile wooden play sets are well worth the investment. This dinosaur-themed play table will let their prehistoric imagination run wild and provide multiple scenarios for hours of fun. The Whimsy and bright prints are created for exciting play and include a variety of play pieces such as dinosaurs, buildings, road & rail. The table has a 2-in-1 design for different play scenes by flipping over the tabletop. The one side features a volcano and stream and a dinosaur theme park on the other. As any parent will soon find out, imaginary play can also be really messy and spill out to all areas of the house, so the table has castors which make it easy to move from room to room. Once a busy day of play is done, the table is easy to clean with a damp cloth and rolls away effortlessly under the bed for practical storage. That’s one more thing us busy mums can tick off our lists. Love it!
